For Art Collector

Certificate of Authenticity

Every original artwork by JAS — Jasmine Artwork Studio comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity from the artist.

The certificate confirms the authenticity of the artwork and includes essential information such as its title, dimensions, year of creation and medium.

Artworks are sold unframed, unless otherwise stated. This allows each collector to choose a frame that complements both the artwork and its environment. I am also happy to offer guidance with framing choices upon request.

Intellectual Property & Reproduction Rights

Purchasing an original artwork by JAS gives you ownership of the physical artwork, but does not transfer copyright or reproduction rights.

JAS — Jasmine Artwork Studio retains all rights relating to its artworks, reproductions and images displayed on this website.

Any reproduction, modification, adaptation, commercial use or other use of an artwork or its image requires the artist’s prior written permission.

Reproduction rights may be granted through a separate written agreement when applicable.

Purchasing Artwork for a Business

Purchasing an original artwork may, in certain circumstances, have tax implications for a business or professional.

In Québec, certain works of art created by Canadian artists may qualify for capital cost allowance (CCA), subject to applicable tax rules and conditions.

Tax treatment depends on factors such as the nature of the purchase, how the artwork is used and the buyer’s individual circumstances. We recommend consulting your accountant or tax professional to determine how the applicable rules apply to your situation.

Art Is More Than an Object

Collecting a work by JAS means choosing a presence, an emotion and a story to bring into your environment.

A work of art can inhabit a space.
It can also become a trace in time.
