The Artist Behind JAS
Some things cannot be put into words.
They are felt.
A silence, a memory, a fear, a longing, a presence… These invisible fragments are often where my work begins.
I paint without trying to control everything. Intuition guides my hand, colour becomes a voice, and texture gives weight to what cannot be named.
Textures, transparencies, contrasts, and light emerge through successive layers. Gold leaf sometimes catches the light — a trace, a glimmer, a fleeting moment.
Each artwork becomes a space of encounter: between what I feel, what I create, and what you may discover within it.
I do not want to dictate what an artwork should mean.
I want to leave you the freedom to recognize something of your own within it.

A Philosophy
Art does not always need to be explained.
Sometimes, it is enough to feel.
Your Project, a Dialogue
An artwork truly comes to life when it meets a place, a story, or a presence.
I believe the right artwork creates a dialogue between the work, the space, and the person who encounters it.
